A section dedicated to our travels and adventures beyond our national borders.

In May 2019 we ventured to Nashville, Tennessee.

We approach urban explorations as if we are visiting from another country and look for what makes each place unique (or “odd” as it may be). Nashville did not disappoint as the music was great and the beer was cold!

A May 2016 tour of Scandinavia was quite the adventure for us.

Starting in Stockholm, then heading Kalmar and Copenhagen.

Onward to explore Denmark before catching an overnight ferry to Oslo.

We made our way across Norway to Bergen for the final days of this excellent tour.

Back in 2002-2003 I found myself going to Seoul Korea five times for a total of six weeks boots on the ground. Working for a start-up medical imaging technology company based in Seattle our first install was at the Seoul National University Medical Center. The images in this gallery were taken during my personal time, mostly weekends.

My experience was like stepping into the Sofia Coppola movie “Lost in Translation”.
